OUR FACILITY & GROUNDS

The Ave Maria Retreat Center, nestled in among 125 heavily wooded acres, this beautiful retreat center property has been consecrated to Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in union with St. Joseph. The center has the St. Joseph chapel, 2 kitchen areas, the Sacred Heart great room, 7 outdoor shrines, 17 indoor bedrooms, 4 family size cabins, a 5 acre fishing lake, a large grassy playground area with swings, St. Peter's fishing boathouse, a picnic pavilion by the St. Francis of Assisi fire pit area, the Blessed Giorgio Frassatti teen center, the Holy Family pavilion, and the St. Sebastian sand volleyball court. Future plans call for a horse barn with a dedicated 3 acre pasture area.

The Ave Maria Retreat Center is located 4.2 miles north of West Newell Road (Wal-Mart) on the east side of State Route One, north of Danville. We are:
• 3 hours south of Chicago, IL
• ​1 hour 45 minutes west of Indianapolis, IN
• 3 hours 45 minutes east of St. Louis, MO
